As a member of Soccer Manager you have a choice of competing in two ゲームワールド types, being either スタンダードゲームワールド or Game Worldのカスタム.

スタンダードゲームワールド consist of several ゲームワールド types: イングランドリーグ, ヨーロッパ選手権, 世界選手権, and several other country specific championships, for example Spanish Championship.

カスタムゲームの世界 are bought and created by members of the Soccer Manager community. The creator can decide on the format and also the rules for this ゲームワールド.

A ゲームワールド can be permanently closed at the end of a season if it has one or less managers and it is administered by the ＳＭサッカー協会. If a ゲームワールド is due to be closed then a warning message will be displayed within My Home.

Occasionally a ゲームワールド will be shut down to conduct maintenance. This maintenance is usually brief to try and minimise disruption. Once this maintenance has been carried out the ゲームワールド will reopen.
